Casey Decker

Financial Officer

Casey is the financial officer for CKG. She joined the firm in 2014 and is known as “The Money Girl.” She is responsible for disbursing awards to clients received from the BWC, including temporary total, wage loss, permanent partial, permanent total, and settlement. In addition, she works as a legal assistant scheduling permanent partial medical exams for clients.

Casey has been married to her husband, Doug, for 23 years. She has a daughter in high school and another in college. Casey enjoys hiking and playing Pokémon Go.

Heather McClain

Legal Assistant

Heather has over 20 years of workers’ compensation experience. She has a tremendous amount of knowledge. Heather focuses on communicating with the BWC claims service specialists and doctors’ offices to make the process as smooth as possible for clients. She engages with clients to keep them informed in a system that can often be confusing and unfamiliar.

Heather was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. She enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Susan Feldmann

Legal Assistant

Susan has been in workers’ compensation for over 30 years. She received her B.S. in Business Administration from Youngstown State University. Her career in workers’ compensation began as a hearing representative for third party administrators representing employers at all hearing levels before the Ohio Industrial Commission. In 2010, Susan joined Sentz Law as a settlement consultant.

For CKG, Susan focuses on full and final settlement of industrial claims. She uses her settlement expertise to assist clients interested in resolving their claims.

Susan has been married to her husband, Steve, for over 30 years and has three sons, a daughter-in-law, and a granddaughter. She enjoys working out and spending time with her family.

Shelly Untch

Legal Assistant

Shelly is a graduate of The Ohio State University. Prior to joining CKG, she gained significant workers’ compensation knowledge working as a personnel officer for the State of Ohio. She assisted employees in applying for and receiving benefits and helped injured workers smoothly transition back to work. Shelly’s work experience also included the role of a labor relations mediator where she helped workers and management come to a reasonable solution regarding workplace disagreements.

After 12 years, she left state service to raise children and recently stepped back into the work force with CKG as a legal assistant.

In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis and watching Buckeye football with her husband, Rich, sons Nick and Ryan, and her crazy, furry pup, Max.

Kari R. Timmerman

Legal Assistant

Kari has nearly 20 years of legal experience in the workers’ compensation industry. She joined the CKG team in 2004 and has integrated her history of customer service with her acquired knowledge in this field to attentively handle case files and effectively communicate with clients. Kari also manages the general office operations to ensure our firm runs efficiently to better serve our clients.

Having roots in rural Minnesota, Kari moved to Ohio in 2002 and has two grown children. Her free time is most often spent in the great outdoors. She enjoys trail hiking, biking, kayaking, and hammocking in the woods.
