Meet Columbus Workers’ Compensation Attorney Ronald Koltak

Ronald J. Koltak was born and raised in Warren, Ohio graduating from John F. Kennedy High School in 1967. He is a US Marine Corps veteran who was decorated for service in the Republic of Vietnam. Ron is a summa cum laude graduate of Kent State University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in political science in 1974. He received his Juris Doctor degree from The Ohio State University in 1977.

Ron has been in private practice since 1982. He has represented our injured clients before the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation, the Industrial Commission of Ohio as well as before Courts of Common Pleas, Courts of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Ohio. Ron also practices in the area of criminal defense and has represented our clients in such matters before all levels of both the State and Federal Courts.

 

 

He was admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Ohio in 1977; the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio in 1978. Ron served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Ohio engaged in the prosecution of white collar crime from 1977 to 1980. He was an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for Knox County, Ohio serving as lead criminal trial attorney from 1980-1982.
